Held on 2nd of December 2024
On the evening of the 2nd of December, a small group of members joined our Bōnenkai 忘年会. Bōnenkai are parties that take place at the end of the year and are a time for drinking and socializing with friends or colleagues. The name translates to “forget-the-year party”.
Far from forgetting the year, we thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing a successful twelve months together with longstanding and new members. We were delighted that Consul General and Mrs Fujiwara were also able to join us. Thank you to everyone for coming and making it a lovely end to a super year and to Bentoya restaurant for the delicious food.
Our AGM will take place on Saturday 1st February 2025, but before that we will have a 13th January talk. Details to follow for both events.
